MY STORY

I’m Jennifer “Mitchy” Mitchell, a classroom educator, Certified Financial Education Instructor, curriculum designer, speaker, and financial literacy advocate.

For more than sixteen years, I have helped students see that math is not just something they do for a grade. It is something they use to make decisions, solve problems, and prepare for real life.

I created Money Math with Mitchy because I know what it feels like to learn financial lessons the hard way. My heart behind this work is simple: I want students to build financial confidence before costly mistakes become their teacher.

Through classroom resources, professional learning, AI supported lesson design, and advocacy, I help teachers turn personal financial literacy into learning that sticks.
